Sand blasting is a common surface treatment for die casting aluminum parts. It is the process of coarsening the surface of aluminum alloy shell by the impact of high-speed sand flow. Sand blasting can remove the oil and oxide on the aluminum alloy component’s surface, improve the surface finish, exposing the metal’s original color, and make the die casting parts more beautiful. At the same time, after sandblasting the aluminum die cast parts are easier to absorb other particles, so it is more suitable for powder coat and painting after sand blasting.
